Projects section examples

Projects help prove skills—especially when job experience is limited.

A strong project entry includes

• what you built
• how you built it (tools)
• what result it achieved (performance, users, automation)
• a link (repo/demo) if appropriate

Example: Data project

Pipeline Automation Project

• Built a Python + SQL pipeline to transform raw event data into reporting tables.
• Added validation checks and documentation, reducing data errors and confusion.
• Published dashboards and wrote a short README for reuse.

Example: Frontend project

Job Tracker UI

• Built a React app to track applications with search and tags.
• Optimized rendering and load time via pagination and memoization.
• Wrote tests for core flows and documented deployment steps.

Example: Product project

Growth Experiment Playbook

• Designed an experiment framework and reporting template.
• Created a funnel dashboard and a decision rule for shipping changes.
