Why is my output too long?

This usually happens when:

  • your base CV contains many roles/projects and the generator tries to include too much
  • the job listing is broad, so more of your experience looks “relevant”
  • you selected a mode/template that tends to be more descriptive

How to fix it:

  • focus your base CV: keep older/less relevant roles shorter
  • prefer a “one-page friendly” layout when targeting 1 page
  • for senior candidates, accept that 2 pages can be normal if it stays relevant
  • remove repetition: if two bullets say the same thing, keep the stronger one
