How Long Data Is Retained

privacy retention trust data

HyperApply is designed to keep only the data needed to provide the service and let you re-download your generated documents.

This page explains retention at a practical level. For the formal policy, see `/privacy.html`.

Retention (plain language)

Account + CV data

HyperApply typically keeps your account, base CV data, and generated documents while your account is active, so you can:

  • generate new documents
  • view history
  • re-download previous outputs

Job history metadata

Minimal job metadata is kept to support your history view and file access.

Logs and diagnostics

Logs and diagnostics are kept for a limited time for reliability, abuse prevention, and service improvement. Some metrics may be aggregated or anonymised over time.

Billing / payment records

If you purchase a paid plan, some billing records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons. Payment details are handled by the payment provider; HyperApply does not store full card numbers.

What happens when you delete your account?

If you request deletion, HyperApply will:

  • remove or anonymise associated personal data where feasible
  • subject to technical and legal constraints (e.g., records required for accounting or fraud prevention)

FAQ

Can I ask you to delete everything immediately?

You can request deletion, and HyperApply will remove/anonymise data as reasonably possible, subject to legal requirements.

Do you keep job descriptions?

Full job descriptions are processed transiently and not retained as part of your history.
