Troubleshooting: Job Post Not Detected

troubleshooting job-listings linkedin detection

If HyperApply doesn’t detect the job listing or shows missing/incorrect context, try these steps.

1) Confirm you’re on a job listing page (not the results list)

On LinkedIn, detection works best on the full job post view.

If you’re on a list view, click a specific job so the full details load.

2) Expand the job description (“See more”)

If the description is collapsed, HyperApply may not have enough content.

3) Refresh and wait

LinkedIn often loads content progressively.

  • Refresh the page
  • Wait a few seconds
  • Then open HyperApply

4) Open the job in a full page view

If you’re viewing the job in a modal or embedded view, open it as a standalone page.

5) Disable blockers temporarily

Ad blockers and strict privacy tools can break page rendering.

Disable them for the job site and reload.

6) Try another job post

This helps determine whether the issue is page-specific.

7) Still failing?
