Troubleshooting: Installation
On this page
If HyperApply isn’t installing or doesn’t appear after installation, use this checklist.
1) Confirm you installed the correct extension
- Open `chrome://extensions/`
- Find HyperApply
- Confirm it’s enabled
If you installed from the Chrome Web Store, you should see it listed there.
2) Pin the extension icon (recommended)
- Click the puzzle icon (Extensions)
- Find HyperApply
- Click the pin icon
3) Restart Chrome
Close Chrome fully and reopen it. (On some systems, Chrome stays running in the background—make sure it fully closes.)
4) Check Chrome version and environment
HyperApply is designed for modern Chrome-based browsers.
If you’re using:
- an outdated Chrome version
- a managed corporate device with restricted extensions
installation or permissions may be blocked.
5) Check extension permissions
- `chrome://extensions/` → HyperApply → Details
- Ensure required permissions are allowed
See: /docs/extension-permissions-explained
6) Still stuck?
Email support:
`hellohyperapply@outlook.com`
Include:
- a screenshot of your `chrome://extensions/` page for HyperApply
- your Chrome version
- any error messages
