HyperApply is designed to work next to job listings you’re already viewing. This guide focuses on a common flow: using it on LinkedIn Jobs.
> HyperApply is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn.
Quick start (LinkedIn Jobs)
1. Sign in to LinkedIn in your browser.
2. Open an individual job listing page (not just the search results list).
3. Open HyperApply (pinned extension icon or the in-page panel, depending on your setup).
4. Confirm the job context (role + company).
5. Review suggested skills and requirements.
6. Choose a template and writing mode.
7. Generate your tailored CV and download the PDF.

Best practices on LinkedIn
Use the full job description view
LinkedIn sometimes collapses sections. Expand “See more” in the description so the visible content includes the details you want reflected in your CV.
Keep the job listing stable while generating
Avoid navigating away mid-generation. If LinkedIn re-renders the page, wait a few seconds and try again.
Treat the output as a draft you approve
HyperApply is designed to help you move fast, but you should always:
- verify claims
- remove anything that sounds inflated
- ensure the top bullets match the role

Common issues (and quick fixes)
The extension doesn’t detect the job listing
- Refresh the page.
- Make sure you’re on a job listing page URL (not the job search list).
- Expand the description (“See more”) and try again.
- Open a different job listing to confirm it’s not page-specific.
The job context shows the wrong company or role
- Wait a few seconds (LinkedIn loads content progressively).
- Refresh and reopen the listing.
- If the listing is embedded in a modal, try opening it in its own page.
Skill suggestions look irrelevant
- Check that the full job description is visible.
- Use the suggestions as a mirror of what the role emphasizes, not a checklist to claim everything.

FAQ
Does HyperApply auto-apply for me on LinkedIn?
No. HyperApply helps you prepare documents; you control what you submit.
Do you store LinkedIn job descriptions?
HyperApply processes the visible job listing content to generate your CV, but the full job description text is not stored as part of your history. Minimal job metadata is stored so you can find your generated documents later.
