Troubleshooting: Permissions
On this page
If HyperApply can’t read job listings, can’t stay signed in, or can’t generate documents, missing permissions are a common cause.
1) Check the extension is enabled
- `chrome://extensions/`
- Ensure HyperApply is enabled
2) Review extension permissions
- `chrome://extensions/` → HyperApply → Details
- Review allowed permissions and site access
If site access is restricted, the extension may not be able to read job listing content.
See: /docs/extension-permissions-explained
3) Corporate-managed devices
On managed devices, admins can restrict:
- extension installation
- permissions
- which sites extensions can run on
If you suspect this is happening, try on a personal device or ask your administrator.
4) Disable conflicting extensions
Privacy tools and content blockers can interfere with page access and network calls.
Disable them temporarily and retest.
5) Still not working?
Email support:
`hellohyperapply@outlook.com`
Include:
- screenshots of the HyperApply extension “Details” page
- the job site you’re using
- what behavior you see (not detected, missing content, etc.)
