How to Download Your PDF

After you generate a tailored CV, you can download it as a PDF and attach it to your application.

Download your CV

1. Generate your CV from a job post:

/docs/how-to-generate-a-tailored-cv-from-a-job-post

2. Click Download PDF (or the equivalent action in the UI).

3. Save the file to your device.

Use a consistent naming pattern so you can find the right version quickly:

  • `CV____.pdf`
  • Example: `CV_Alex_Smith_Holidu_Data_Engineer_2025-12-22.pdf`

If the PDF doesn’t download

Try:

  • Refresh the page and regenerate.
  • Disable ad blockers for the site and retry.
  • Check your browser’s download settings.
  • Try another network if your connection is unstable.

If the PDF formatting looks off

  • Switch templates and download again:

/docs/how-to-choose-a-template

  • Make sure your base CV formatting is clean:

/docs/add-your-base-cv

If it persists, contact support with:

  • the job URL
  • the template you used
  • a screenshot of the issue
  • `hellohyperapply@outlook.com`

Yes—your generated versions are available in your history so you can download again.

Can I download in another format (DOCX)?

HyperApply focuses on clean PDF outputs. If you need edits, update your base CV and regenerate.
